This limited-edition cultural composition honors that legacy. Designed in collaboration with Dr. Yaba Blay, our inaugural Artist-in-Residence, BAMBOO: At Least Two Pair transforms an everyday emblem of Black girlhood into something you can build by hand, display with pride, and pass down as an heirloom.
BAMBOO: At Least two Pair; preserves a shared language of style, self-definition, and belonging. It reminds us that everyday culture is sacred and that what we build carries the same weight as what we've worn. this collaboration turns a familiar symbol of identity into a monument of memory.
At its core, BAMBOO: At Least Two Pair is both play and preservation. A way to build what we've always known to be true. this iteration is indeed our second pair.
